Montana Bar Fairies is a volunteer-powered movement committed to preventing drunk driving and supporting families impacted by DUI-related tragedies. By giving your time, you help make Montana’s roads safer and provide support to those in need.
Coffee Card Initiative
Help distribute $5 coffee gift cards on weekend mornings to cars left overnight in bar parking lots, thanking individuals for choosing not to drive impaired.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours per weekend (or flexible)
Best for: Individuals, small groups, and businesses who want to participate
Event & Community Outreach
Assist at DUI prevention events, grief support gatherings, and fundraising initiatives. This may include:
Setting up and coordinating event logistics
Handing out educational materials
Engaging with attendees and spreading awareness
Time Commitment: Event-based, flexible
Best for: Those who enjoy working with the public and raising awareness
Support for Families Impacted by DUI
Work behind the scenes to help families affected by drunk driving. This could include:
Helping coordinate remembrance events
Organizing cards or tributes for the Remembering Loved Ones blog
Assisting with outreach to connect families to grief support
Time Commitment: As needed, flexible
Best for: Those with a heart for grief support and honoring victims
